Our Aims
• Form an association for the transgender community to facilitate mutual support and communication in order to improve the health, emotional wellbeing and confidence of transgender people.
• Promote and assist the study of gender and gender diversity.
• Educate lay and professional groups about being transgender, its associated issues and the work of the Society.
• Engage and support the accomplishment of any lawful activity that promotes the above aims.

Support for Transgender Adults
The journey to self-acceptance for transgender adults, in whatever way is the relevant one for you, is frequently a difficult one. Although none of the members of the Beaumont Society are trained counselling professionals, they do offer a service through the Regional Organisers for you to talk and share experiences with people who are or have been experiencing the same issues. These may be at support meetings or outings for example.
